The company's next-generation solid-state lithium
metal battery technology is designed to enable greater energy density, faster
charging and enhanced safety to support the transition away from legacy energy
sources toward a lower carbon future.
Are you detail-oriented and enthusiastic about hands-on assembly work? We are
seeking a dedicated and reliable R&D Technician to join our team. In this role, you
will play a key part in manufacturing our innovative devices, ensure quality and
precision throughout the production process, and help support our
groundbreaking experiments!

Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to operate
automation tools to assemble QuantumScape proprietary devices
* Operate metrology instruments and provide general laboratory support to
facilitate tool optimization experiments
* Accurately report daily production activities and experimental results
* Identify and report anomalies or unexpected outcomes, offering
constructive feedback to aid process improvement
* Communicate effectively using Microsoft Office applications for
documentation and collaboration purposes
* Work collaboratively with scientists and engineers to support experimental
initiatives and project objectives.
* Strictly comply with all safety policies, procedures, and best practices to
maintain a safe laboratory environment.

Minimum Requirements
* A high school diploma with at least 3 years' experience in an R&D lab
environment
* A commitment to delivering high quality results
* Basic computer software skills, including Microsoft Office and a browser

Preferred Skills
* Able to handle a dynamic research environment
* Ready to learn a range of lab skills
* Flexible and can collaborate on different projects with researchers
* Comfortable using software for task completion and logging data

Physical Requirements
* Work is performed in a dry room, fume hood, lab area, or glovebox
requiring the use of fine motor skills
* Able to wear full body cleanroom gown and face coverings
* Able to stand for long periods of time
* Able to lift 20-30 lbs. on occasion
* Reaching and twisting motions with hands

ONSITE:
This position is required to work onsite 5 days per week from 1:00 pm to 9:30pm to meet
the minimum essential duties and requirements of this position.? As an on-site R&D and
manufacturing operations organization, in-person face to face interaction is
essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, and collaboration.
